Today was the last day of VBS 2010!
We have had a great week and have loved having all 98 children and 50+ adults join us!
Because of your generosity we were able to donate $350.00 worth of comfort blankets to our Galesburg Rescue Mission! WOW! God is so good!
Our God sightings were posted over 5 large maps. Every time the children saw a God sighting they would name it, and put it on our map. We were successful in filling in all maps. Our God sightings ranged from attending VBS, my family, our dog, a nap, the workers of VBS, my brothers and sisters and many many more! God is definitely out there!
Candi Moulton has done such a fantastic job of designing and building our ship that we have 3 different area churches asking to borrow our set! Great Work Candi!
Special thanks to Russ Nelson, Steve Spicher, Joel Strader, Nathan Fitch, and Pastor Greg for all of their help with the sound, slides, and music for this week! We had a rockin' good time!
A special thank you to Molly Kleine and Laurie Aten, co-directors of VBS. Because of their countless hours of preparation and organization our Vacation Bible School has become the smooth running, successful venture that it is. They begin planing the next year's VBS almost as soon as this year is finished. It takes countless hours away from family and friends. We appreciate their hard work and effort!
